I got 14mpg towing my cobra up to Ennis for FFW with the ol SRT10 and did very well.

I have had mine for over 3 weeks now and absolutlely love it. Cant beat it hands down as far as a tuner is concerned. the shop that did mine is very well known in the Lightning community and knows all about tuning. my truck picked up 20hp and 49tq.

no for one thing the tuner completely reflashes the computer and saves it into the handheld device. And the SCT will do everything you need it to do, and there is only so much you can do with the computer but simply no piggy backing the system.

With the new SCT tuner I went to the local 1/8 mile track. Didn't get any blistering times due to track prep but did 86 mph in the 1/8. thats up 3mph just in the 1/8 from my best mph so far. I am very happy with this tuner.:rock: :burnout: :D

well idealy you want it to point at the center of the combustion chamber and just using the exhaust or intake valve as reference. If it is pointed at the chamber wall then you can see the ill effects it can have.

indexing the plugs was an OLD cirlce track trick that WORKED and a N/A car would usually pick up around 10-15hp which was great due to the constraints of the rules. Anyway what you doing indexing the electrode to point direct at the exhaust valve to insure quicker faster burn. results are free hp.
