Your gonna go way over 5-6k tho....You cannot do a Paxton and keep the stock tranny. Mine went in 3 days! Sure Scrambler made it a year and a few others 4-6 months but It will go FOR SURE!

Mike ran 10lbs of boost for a year with no problems. He blew it with 10 lbs of boost AND a 300 shot. A larger idler pulley would help also but either way.....good luck.

I have the MSD Wires on mine.....but I havent heard of any MSD Ignition Hot Box or anything like that....Man JR you should just get one of my pulley setups and take her up to about 10 lbs of boost and youll make BIG power. Or do the heads and cam.....or both :D Im makin 12 lbs of boost right...

That was only with my OLD street tires that had no tread on em....but when I put the slicks on it HOOKED like crazy.....it tracks straight now too....before it kinda walked left and right a little.....we forgot to crank down the Caltracs too. So, we just did that and it is grabbin real nice now...

Man.....what a difference. The truck breaks traction at barely half throttle with street tires on! It is WAYYY more power hittin the ground with the Power-Lock. Install was a snap. The Power-Lock is a little noisy around corners but not bad at all. Test fitted the slicks and was shocked at...

I disagree about the strikers....Need4Speed has very similar build specs to mine and he has P&P'd heads ($3500) and I have the Strikers and a Cam and Im making alot more rwhp (180) and Im only pushing 3 more lbs of boost. So 3 lbs of boost and the strikers=180 more rwhp......

I did it by hand at first with terrible results.....then I tried the powerball...better results but still nowhere near when the parts were delivered.

I had a mothers powerball and Flitz aluminum polish....I also have a dremel with a bunch of attatchments but the powerball did most of it....I cant get it to a mirror finish no matter what...
