Apparently there is a thing. I have never heard of them but when they fell off, over the last year or so, I had to start looking.... No joy anywhere except Amazon. They had a picture and bizarre name. So I bought 2 and they fit. I don't shop Amazon normally.

Was a great day. Real local people and real toys dragged out of garages, some dusted off some not. Tractor pull with only local tractors. Anything from 2 Farmall petrol powered (gas) to giant Deer John 9470. Some special cars below 62 Ford Zodiac........&1Buick Riviera......Vauxhall Monaro...

Changed out a faulty new thermostat and put the old one back in. Ya try to do the right thing when you build a new engine and this is how it repays you. Took off quite a bit of bark as well. Shit job. They didn't make these trucks easy to work on that's for sure.

We had a small show in Timaru today. Cloudy and cold. The real hardy people only showed up. Still not a bad turn out for July 4th

Well here we are again. Admittedly we have started early. Night of 3rd. Big ol' feast. Hush Puppies, Corn Dogs, Sloppy Joes, Cross Cut Fries, Corn Bread and topped off with Ma's Apple Pie. July 14th DYNO DAY!!! July 9th. Towed a 3500kg trailer for 2 hrs today. Gave it a good work out before dyno day. Up hills and windy road. Gave it the jandal 2nd, 3rd some 4th. Many times. Nearly half a tank of gas used.

A bit cool this morning 2C. Not a bad turn out of interesting cars. Probably 40 cars
