i did that the base of the shifter has one end longer than the other and the longer end goes to the front- racer ace

I got my new shifter for boomer friday and i installed it saturday. After i buttoned everything up itook it out for a test drive. It wouldn't go into 2nd 4th or sixth. So i took it out checked that every thing was right and put it back together again It did the same thing I put my stock...- racer ace
