Same size tires on all 4 wheels, fairly new tires too. I'm not getting a code but the truck is second hand so it may have a tune. Could a tune turn off those codes or mess with that system? I wouldn't think so but it's a shot. My only other guess is a brake pad that sticking or something...

The 190 t-stat will start to open earlier than that. The 190* is when it's fully open. It will always open no matter what your tune is. The only thing in the tune would be to turn the fans on sooner. If the fans are coming on quicker but the t-stat isn't open it doesn't really affect...
