03 Lightning vs SRT 10 RAM vs C6 *video*

We all understand that when two trucks with roughly the same RWTQ take off the one with a 600lb weight advantage should pull ahead right?
We also understand that 8.3liters can be made to produce almost twice as much power as 5.4 can right, so yes the Dodge would win the Mod game with unlimited funds.
But right now the trucks seem pretty close with the L having the out of the hole edge due to the blower creating that instant to the top torque curve and a lighter weight to get rolling.
Every one can be happy knowing the
L is done pulling at about 4750rpm while the 10 is right in the sweet spot with another 1000 plus left in the cam.
The L motor is all tq,not a bad thing in a truck but we have both TQ+HP.
So let these guys play and don't be offended by reality!

My L makes 386/470 with a torque curve that looks like a table
Have any of ya'll ran a built motor, Kenne Bell / spray Lightning? I see some of your sigs and 650-1000 rwhp is some serious power, wondering if any of ya'll with that power have ran a highly modded L. Not just a pully tune L like mine.

Saw a few documented L's running high 9's.
Haven't saw any RC's there yet.
Due to Ford having the right price combo L's are crowd pleasers with an army of aftermarket parts we will never enjoy so there may never be over one or two RC's that hit the 9's but there was so much potential it's just sad DC screwed it up!

Awesome runs, The SRT seems super strong for a stock truck. The filter makes a big difference. I cant wait to run a modded L with the new Zex kit
L's are nice trucks that can be made very fast. My friend has one with 6lb, tb, intake, tune, trac bars, slicks and runs mid to high 12's

Great runs, no doubt, but I do agree that the horn starts were pretty off. of course the guy honking will have the slight advantage, he knows when he is going to honk....its all in good fun...if you want to be serious, just have somebody stand between both trucks and drop the ol arms......but i say good racing either way......be safe guys and gals.

He can creep away from a 50 roll, I used to walk him from that speed, we are definately alot closer now with him being slightly faster from a roll. I would like to see us race in the 1/4th and him able to launch it good without traction or bogg. I will have the video up soon.
