Hi,

i am looking for a SRT10 short block or long block for a RAM SRT10 2004.

If you have one or know somebody, just let me know.

Thanks

Arne

Kyle,

one of our german forum members has a problem with his engine and we want to have him back on the road before the season starts.....

This is how it looks like under one of the sleeves....

Ouch, I'll see what I can find for ya.

But new sleeves would have to be done and if you consider all the labor + parts and the risk of the welding not being perfect, you can rather buy a shortblock.....

Is therebesides the knock sensor any other difference
between a 04-05/06 short block ?

Would make it easier, if we can look around for those as well....

Going into an 04 i think you're ok, 05-06 have a different crank sensor location but worst case I could see I'd just extend the harness to reach the different locations

True, totally forgot the crank sensor....

But extending the harness is not a big issue.

Thanks for the input.

I put an 05 engine in a 04 truck. Wasn't a big deal at all just extended the wires and that's it!
