got PM to show how i adapted my 04 wing to the bedcover.Now made a thread about so everybody can enjoy
i cut the wing in the middle ( some try-out cut to find the exact blade ...) and then cut from each side a piece away so that the total amount would fit the new width ofcourse ...
Took away the foam filling in a piece .

put some plastic foil in and filled with epoxy.This inner mold piece is used for perfect alignment of the 2 halfs.
drilled 2 holes in it and pushed 2 stainless steel tubes in .
In the 2 halfs you remove the foam filling just enough for half the mold and drill a bit ( smaller ) the place for the tubes.Now again with epoxy on all you push the 2 halfs together and let it rest to harden.
The seem , you just tape nicely around and fill it with rubber ( i used as for boats teakdeck. ( just happen to have it by hand
)
On the pics you can see it but in general if you don't know... don't think you notice it... :rock: :rock:
And it is as strong as before !:elefant:
