06 Dipstick

Did the 06 have the flat dipstick. My 05 had the wire/cable with the barrel end on it. This thing looks shorter!

Thank you. Its good they fixed the 04-05 failure. You could not get a proper reading on it

How much is the 06 dipstick? I hate the one in my 05, the wire cable POS. I can never figure out how much oil is really in the freakin truck until it gets dirty.

I just checked the part numbers for the dipstick and tube on the 05 vs the 06and they are both different. The 06 will probably not work in an 05 unless the tube is changed as well. Barring of course they did not change anything else. Oh well, back to guessing the oil level I guess

It comes out easy... but i have to team ram rod the fuckin thing back in everytime. I might just stop checking it... she doesn't burn any anyways hahaha :marchmellow:
