There not moving off $24,500:dontknow: That's out the door BTW:rock: Sales manager told me the only reason I was getting it so cheap is because I knew what they give for it.:D :D

Decisions decisions:banghead: :banghead:
What decision? Get the truck. You could easily turn around and sell it for a profit, if you really had to.

Headed to the grandparents house in KC on Monday. Going to check the truck out on Tuesday morning.

I thought about that truck but passed on it mainly because it was too far away. The sales guy seems cool but lets be honest here. They paid 21 for it, put some new tires..lets say 800 bucks. So they are into this thing for 21,800 and are selling it for 24,500. So in a few weeks they are making almost 3k profit!! Thats a nice turn. I don't see people beating down their doors for it, its probably only due to this site that you and I even inquired about it, maybe he should do the same with the other trucks he has :)

Yes, like any other dealer, they have to make a profit to put food on the table. Some margins are huge/greedy, others are bargains, the rest, fair. In order for them to purchase the truck for "$21,800" from the previous owner, they had to do a deal on the trade in - it works both ways. No trade in, higher priced vehicle. As others have said, it's a great price and one which I feel people should be knocking down doors for. 2006, limited edition for that price in a recovering/building economy is very good. :) Too far away lol I feel yah, I purchased mine just down the road, over 8,000 miles away LOL. If you want something bad, you'll get it.

I think this is a deal... usually at a dealer the sales department pays service full price so if they sent it throught the shop and put new tires on it maybe a oil change they probably spent close to 1200 on it.. Then this and that and this paper work... at thats price OUT THE DOOR i would say they are seeing 1500 profit. But they could of lost 2000 on the car they sold. With the way the economy is going for american car dealers i think the days of 5-10k profit on a sale are over the consumers are to smart.

And another think is you now where the truck came from... it was a single ower. and he seems like he took care of it. And it includes some nice aftermarket stuff already

Dont forget they have to pay the salesman commission....and income taxes on the profit.....and insurance....utility bills....rent/mortgage.....office payroll....administration payroll....licenses...misc labor such as wash rack employee...maintenance...and etc, etc, etc.......

Lot of expenses have to be deducted from that $3K "profit".....in the end probably only a few hundred dollars will get to the owner(s) bank account.....lot of investment risk for so little.........

What all mods are done on it? Thats a KILLER deal at $24500 out the door roast the tires down the street deal!! If I were to buy a second 10 without a doubt it will be a NR!!
