1/4 mile times and classes

definitions:
Naturally aspirated: allowing , cams, heads, pistons, anything except forms of forced induction.

Turbo: Single or twins, including nos and any internal engine mods.

Supercharger: ANY type of supercharger including nos and any internal engine mods.

Nitrous: NOS injected, also including any internal engine mods.

Open competition: one or more of the above combined, full race only vehicles highly modified.not really street legal.


classes will be listed in the next post, jsut post you name and time under it , or under the next guy and copy and paste. For those of you that do not know how to copy and paste well your time could be left out if the next person is not kind enough to do it for you. Directions. Right click on list and highlight the appropriate area, then left click and hit copy, go to post reply and left click and paste, then add you name and time.

I would also be nice if you could post your time in the appropriate time space, example 12 sec run is not faster than 11 sec run so insert 12 second run under 11 and so forth.

after you post your time please list what your mods are, that way we can keep it honest. anyone having questions or suggestions please ask.

We can easily modify this at any time, but it is ONLY FOR SRT10 RAMS RC'S AND QC'S

Would it be more competitive and somewhat on an even playing field to list the elevation or density altitude of the run you post? I have a [email protected] an 8000' density altitude. If not, my supercharged truck will likely come in last place for time/speed.

Let do this for folks in the higher elevations, post the elevation beside your time and then do a conversion for sea level and post it beside the other time

Oh and also put beside your time , so that we dont have to have so many classes whether or not you were wearing slicks, drag radials, or street tires, s=slicks, dr=drag radials, st=street.

well I tried to make it as straight forward and as simple as can be, one naturallly asperated, two forced induced and one open class, and jsut put what tires you had on, its not a competition just information in you example would look like this

if you want to add the sea level times its entirely up to you , but I think what the time slip says should be the time we go by, its in paper and done.
We could have more classes for street , drag radials, and slicks, but you would have 15 different classes , would ya'll rather have that?

As long as someone who's doing the conversion uses the same formula. For me...elevation of the track is 5830. I was on street tires.
