Just my 2 cents, but not in favor at all of assuming you could run something at sea level. If your time slip doesn't show it, it didn't happen. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any of the governing bodies of drag racing take elevation into consideration in regards to adjusting times.

I gotta agree with you on that one bro. Sorry if it hurts some feelings, but the time tells us how fast your truck went and at what speed. And that is what it did. I understand that a vehicle will run faster the lower the elevation, but to correct for it is like making an excuse for it. If only I could correct for my tire slippage because of more power at a lower elevation, my higher drag coefficient at lower elevations, the denser air on a humid day because I live in the Puget Sound area, yada, yada, yada. All just excuses. Sorta like a guy saying his car is faster than yours and then you race and beat him and he starts spouting off excuses why you beat him. Does it really matter? No, you beat him. Now I know you guys racing in denver and LACR are slower because of the elevation, but don't think for one second I give a rats ass what your corrected time is. I also weight 86 pounds on the moon. Big friggin deal. I don't live on the moon. And you didn't race at sea level.

I think I kind of have to. It's not worth it to take a big loss on it. A 5K loss would have to be added to the next vehicle. By the time I do that I'm not saving any money. Or I'm saving so little it's not worth it. So it's still for sale, but I can only sale it private party. Dealers just won't give me enough.
