1000 BHp or 900 rwhp?

Annu honeslty your best alternative is to send it to Justin, have him install a single turbo kit, and send your tranny to Joe(please not suncoast I like ya too much) and you will have it by spring and be close to 20K

problem solved, any questions?

I stopped counting at 150 K in mods 2 years ago and it's still not done.

People in hell want ice water too.

1000 hp reliably costs big $. Street drivers only need 700 hp to be tons of fun. Unless you want to spend 3 to 20 K in suspension mods you can't use anything over 700 RWHP on the street.

I have to say right on.......

I have plenty of fun with 600rwhp and a 6 speed....... Besides once you get to that point, power's not the issue anyway....It's traction......

Save yer money and buy a lighter car, like Silver's Cobra or a Patrick's Viper.... Those cars are very light and you can kill yourself with no problem whatsoever......

(Windsock, indeed.........) lol....

Annu you have to be able to change your own oil to have 1000hp:D

Well look at it, Justin can work him a turbo for 14k then send the tranny in the meantime to Joe westminister for about 5k and get the rig back in super shape:rock:

Annu.......call the man:D

You have your head up your ass. Extracting that will cost about half of your budget.

Annu, you are a windsock.

LMFAO

I sure wish Justin was around doing this turbo setup when I was thinking of going FI...

So far, with no built motor, here is my tally:

$11,300.00 for Boomer's Paxton kit installed
$8,500.00 Tranny and 2500 stall Torque Converter Installed
$1100.00 Nitrous Kit installed
$700.00 Calvert traction Bars Installed
$1100.00 Boomer's Modify Lowering Kit Installed

Max RwHP: 792 without NOS.
Let's say 15% Drivetrain loss = 932 BHP

16,000 miles and no mechanical problems.

Best 1/4 mile on slicks no NOS: 11.73 at 115
Best 1/4 mile on stock tires no NOS: 11.838 at 119

Guys Thats what i want 1000 Bhp. I want to acheive that with just a Paxton.
(i dont want to fool around with nos) My budget is 20k. I also want it to be driveable. In a Nutshell: I want 1000 Bhp disposable under my right foot and want the daily reliability. So I could drive it and have fun without running into problems.

You want your cake and eat it too. You start building your engine to that that much HP, and the life of your engine is decreased, and driveability becomes a trickier if not dangerous to the you and others on the street.
That much HP and Torque, something got to break after awhile.

Don't get me wrong, I get really excited for the members that get those Horse Power and torque numbers, but it just no practical to expect those type of numbers and expect it to be like a daily driver and not expect to more time under the hood.

These truck are already like dating a rich spoiled chick. You gotta thrown a ton of money at them to Maintain and keep them.

Crap just to change the oil it cost almost $80.00 if you do it yourself. Tell me 20 years ago I would spend that I would have to you where to get off at.
