Truck could still have the flash even though there are no aftermarket stickers. Whats the engine temp running at? You might have a lower t-stat in there which is one thing we all change after the flash upgrade.

ok i took the truck to a dyno, it must have a flash it put down 486hp and 525tq, my temp varies a lot if you drive it easy it is around 160ish, and if you get on it it'll just get over 200, a/f ratio was also very linear(spelling?) and right on the money. bigred, i live in academy, about a mile down the road from temple-academy dragway(it's not a very good track at all). i'd like to run it at san antinio or at ennis

A flash won't give you those numbers on a RC. You must have some other mods also. Do you have cats? Headers? CAI? Etc?

I put down 440 rwhp and 495 rwtq with me flash with the magnaflow. no other mods. You gotta have some additional mods cause those are good numbers.

no headers no cold air, this was in 4th gear(not sure what everyone else uses) made 3 runs, first run was 492hp 586ft lbs but there was a problem with the rpm pickup on the dyno so we disergarded that one, the next one was right after the first and was 473hp 496ftlbs, we shut the truck down and let it cool(temp was just over 200 at the end of second run) with the temp right around 165-170 was the 486/525 run so we stuck with that one.
if these trucks come with 4 cats then mine is missing 2... if not then i assume they are aftermarket cats and the factory ones are gone

Those are STOUT #'s for a pretty much stock RC. Are you sure there are no internal mods that you don't know about:dontknow:

not sure on internal mods, i'm trying to get in touch with the orignal owner so i can find out for sure, i'll snap pics after christmas(i don't have a camera but thats what i got my g/f for a present, gotta wait for her to open it and learn how to post them) i'll try some video's too if i can. might go back to the track on the 29th if i have time
