I was trying to come up with ideas for a custom paint job. I've been at it for a few hours and its 7am now and I'm tired, otherwise there'd be many more. This is just trying to find the base layer, then I'll decide if it needs pin striping, tribal stuff, ghosty flames, true fire, skulls, etc etc.

Here's the link to the page I set up for them.

Or if you have pretty high bandwidth I made this page for that purpose where all images load at once: http://sicksrt.com/paint/dump.htm

I like #2 the best. Your truck is gonna look sick when you get that paint on.

Yeah 2 is pretty slick. If I had to choose among the bunch I'd say number 2 or 6. I printed number 6 out on photo paper and held it up to a true light bulb and it looked beautiful.

But thats the thing.... I would love to see something like that at a car show... but I'm not sure thats quite 'me' if you catch my drift. Number 2 is closer to being 'me' but it still need to be darker... not necessarily color wise, but more imposing. Thats a good word to sum it up actually. Imposing... I'll keep toying with the ideas. Thanks for the input!

U cant lose either way ya go. It boils down to what ur really going to love and live with. I really like the way the ford cobras had that paint that would change color in the sunlight. like a green/black/purple type look.

On my initial paint idea thread I was mentioning a house of kolor color that was a black but changed to metalflake red in light. I still need to see it though. I have to fix my Z first so if I go that route I'll test the paint on that to make extra sure I like it before stickin it to my truck : )

Why in the world would you want to combine the two slowest colors? :dontknow: ;) :D

Oh well, to each his own.;) Personally I like #13 the best, but the most important thing is that you have a truck you like, and the rest can go screw themselves.:D

awesome looks no matter how you go. could you do me a favor? if you get a minute can you take a mineral gray qc and photo shop the door handles, the cowl on the hood, and the wing with the flame red color?

well its not exactlya matter of a 'free minute' lol but I'll do it but you'll need to provide me with a clean pic to work on.

hehe number 11 was a repeat I made by accident so I erased it.

Thanks again for the input.

are these good enough? i can take more. just let me know what angle you need to do this the easiest.

again thanks

Fellas, here is the ultimate photoshopped pic right here. This truck would be the baddest of the bad...

I did the what I could but the image quality of the pic is really bad. Its not really flame red but you can get an idea at least.

I would take number 4, and flip the red with the black and see how that came out - didn't see one done like that.
