The Pats certainly didn't have a bunch of 3 point come from behind wins. They were favored by a minimum of 17 points (and as high as 26) except in 1 or 2 games this year, and covered almost every week. They decimated opponents, plain and simple. (I'm no Pats fan by the way).

Brady may be the best QB to ever walk onto a field, and Moss is no slouch. He is back to the form he was at when he was in Minnesota, the most dangerous receiver in the league, the only one close to him is TO.

And the Eagles that you keep mentioning are probably the best 8-8 team in history. 3 of their losses were by a combined 9 points, so 3 field goals and they would be a playoff team that would have a lot of teams worried right now. Matter of fact didn't they just beat the Cowboys? hmmmmm

Like I said, I'm no Pats fan, but you got to give credit where it is due.
 
Id never compare our team to the 72 Dolphins. But as of right now in the NFL we are looking real good... Our defense and linebackers still need work though lol.

Chub has issued a Bitch slap :rock: The 1985 Bears were called the Monsters of the Midway....They lost 1 game becuase they believed their own press and lost focus...Mike Singletary has said so publicly many times. If not for that Da Bears of 1985 would be considered the greatest of all time and there would be no debate....Still the most dominant defense in the history of the NFL :D Video taping opponants calls has been going on since George Allen guys....The Jet's are just sorry Ass lying sacks of Shit.....They did it all last year :dontknow: :D Love the topic LOLOLOL :D

Let's get a couple of things out of the way. First, the 85 Bears didn't lose focus against the Dolphins, they met Marino and the Mark and Mark show for the first time;) . Some people forget how incredible Marino was.

As for the schedule of the 72 fins, the skeptics have always said that it was light. But what most fail to remember is that they came back the next year and went 12 and 2, playing 7 playoff teams. We could argue schedule difficulty all day, and still not come to a resolution.

With that said, I really dislike the Pats, primarily becuse of Belachick. He's a little too smug for my taste, and as a result, my feeling trickles over to the enitre team. And being the die-hard Dolphin fan that I am, I guess I am a little bitter at their success.

However, as much as I hate to say it, the Pats have reached an incredible milestone that the Dolphins have held soley for 35 years. In watching the game with the Giants, I actually stated that Brady MAY be the best I had ever watched, and this is hard for me to say with the admiration I have for Marino. It's likely that he will own every QB record by the time he completes his career. I've still never seen anyone get rid of the ball as quickly as Marino could.

So, back on topic...I don't like the Pats, they did get busted for cheating, and whether everyone does it or not, they were fined $750,000 and lost a first round draft pick (but what does matter, they will just sign an under utilized Dolphin and make them a star). The head coach is an ass, and I'm tired of them winning. BUT, I've got to give them credit for what they have done; they always found a way to win. Let's just see if they can continue perfection through the post season and possibly the Superbowl. After all, that's what the 72 fins did!;)
 
The head coach is indeed a POS I agree....But he is a winning POS and has the hardware to prove it. There is no way to put a 70's team up against todays bigger, faster and smarter athlete. Put this Patriot's team up against any other championship team of the past and I bet the Pat's would beat them. The 70's Steelers would slow them down but could not beat them. The 80's 49ers could not even play on the same field IMO. The 90's cowboys would make it close however would still lose I believe....Once again not a Pat's fan at all just a realist....If they lose it will be by their own doing and nothing anyone else throws on them....My prediction is Pat's vs Green Bay in the Super bowl only cause I hate the Cowboys :D Pat's win 52 -14
