Nope a TCI 6x is a 4l80e bro, lol. It's 6 speeds instead of 4 He splits those with a gear splitter bro. I'm sure the 6x part threw you off.
Not sure how he says its a 7 speed though?

6x Six-Speed GM 4L80E Automatic Transmission (850hp) - TCI® Auto

My understanding is that the 6 speed is not a 4L80e. Also, splitting the 4 forward gears on the 4L80e (4 speed) would net 8 possible forward ratios.

With the Gear Vendor engaged I start in 1st low then it shifts into 1st hi,2nd hi,3rd hi,and so on.
