If anyone has something viper or viper truck related I want to see it for sale here that will bring traffic which is good for vendors and grow the group. You can post for free on many web sites: craigs list, kijiji.
Why give a guy shit over trying to unload a great car (by the looks of it) to fellow viper and car lovers :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

That is why I mentioned it was off-topic. I believe he is sincere, I was more thinking of others that have limited posts and try to sell their items.

Pretty good chance this guy will never be part of this group. Just stopping in to sell a car. This isn't craigslist. I wouldn't have a problem with him selling there. Also, If I were looking for a Viper, even being a member here, I would look on Viper Alley or another forum. Not on a truck forum.

I think Mike is on the right track posting his viper here. There are many members that have either sold their viper truck for a viper car or have both.

Seems a natural fit.

I joined in January because I was going to get an SRT10 Ram QC for my company truck. Things didn't work out and I added a 2005 quad cab 1500 Thunder Road eddition. I actually stop in multiple times a week to read up as I still desire to get an SRT Ram. I have been a member of the ViperClub and the Viperalley for about 7 years as this is my 2nd Viper. I assumed that it was all the same "family" so I apologize if anyone is offended.

I actually would be open to partial trades plus cash for a lower mileage quad cab. I would then need to offload the 1500, but willing to consider it.

Mike

Welcome to the forum Mike. It's a beautiful car!!!!!

Just a suggestion, that your post now would of been a great intro.

All the best,

Wil

Would have felt a bit different if you would have mentioned those things first. I'm not offended by anything you did, but get tired of seeing people with one post come on here, post something and you never see them again.
I have no problem with someone with a Viper or a Hemi joining the group. Though I might give a Hemi guy a hard time every now and again. :D

Hi Mike, I don't think anybody is offended and I also think we are all family, even though, obviously, the Viper powered Ram is not the same as the car.

I made an inquiry several months ago to VCA to see if I could join even though I didn't own a Viper powered car. I was told, politely of course, that no membership category existed (at that time) for the Viper powered trucks and VCA wasn't sure when a membership category would be considered. Although I was advised I could join their forum site, no strings attached and that several other Viper powered truck owners were active members of the VCA forum site. In my viewpoint, all this membership stuff is OK with me, rules are what they are.

This site is more open and free than others I used to frequent and the rules here are laxed as compared to other sites. Particularly those rules that involve for sale items and site allowances for other vehicle makes and models to join in the foray.

You do own a very nice Viper Car and I wish you all the luck with its sale. And a warm welcome to the funny farm, the VTCOA. :D

Thanks everyone. Yeah, the viperclub is a little pretentious at times so I am sorry about them not letting you join John. The alley is much more "open" to everyone although they can be rowdy at times. I guess I look at all Dodge products as being part of the family whether it be a truck, Challenger, Charger, Magnum or whatever. Although I know each category has its own groupings. I mean even the forums seperate the cars by generations.

Now that was funny. Believe me, one wife is enough. I'm not sure how the middle easterners handle more than one! Gorgeous truck though, and nice legs underneath it.
