i just read why you might be selling your truck. my prayers are with you and jonny's friends and family. you did the right thing by not racing him. take some time to decide if selling the truck is the right thing to do, in my opinion i wouldnt, feel free to pm me if you need to talk, Bill
 
Stan PM Shawn and ask him to take this thread down.....Snap judgments in a time like this is not what is needed. Take some time and think it through....The story of your friend is indeed tragic my friend and I know you are hurting not only from this but other things as well. As one who had to give his truck up............I miss the Hell out of it daily :( While I don't regret the reason I had to sell it.....I regret not being in position to keep it.....You are so please reconsider before doing something that seems to be for the right reason now, but tomorrow you may regret it...............Mikey
 
i just dont want to end up like some of my friends. ive lost 4 close friends in the past 2 years to high speed accidents. i mean, i dont ever goi nearly that fast anymore, but the potential to is there.
 
The best thing to do is learn from those accidents and honor your fiends by keeping your truck with a greater respect for speed. Tell people your stories and let them know its real and nobody is safe if they are wreckless. You might save someones life.

nothing you sell or do is gonna change that

you have to use your own good judgment of when and where

I have raced motorcycles for forver and lost some very good close friends
even my only brother to a motorcycle acident

but came to realize that things happen and can happen anytime anywhere,even just going to the mailbox
all we can do is enjoy the life we have at this given moment and selling the truck is not going to make it any better or you any safer only time can do that.

This wasn't what your friends death was about. Don't make any changes right now. Let some time pass. Get through this. You did what you had to do. I don't think your friend would support this.

Bro, I am so sorry for your loss. May your buddy rest in peace. It's a very tough situation your in. But I think you should hold out on selling your pride and joy. You are a smart dude, you know well enough to take the very short drive down 46 to Island, I hope you reconsider this. But it's your desision. Again, I'm sorry to hear about this accident, and that's what it was, an accident, nobody could have predicted this to happen. It was your bro's chosen time. haulin. im at island every friday night. you should come by. i just dont race the truck. i was gonna, bu they wouldnt let me throu tech. so ive been runnin the car. still not sure whats up with the truck, love it to death but every time i get in it, bad flashbacks happen. we'll see. its only on here for now.
 
Brother sorry for you loss, but If everyone got rid of items because of someone elses misfortune we would have nothing left. Learn to drive like a little old lady. I do not think My truck has been over 3500 RPM. It is nice knowing that it is there and they are just great vehicles to own. Give it some time and think about it for a while.

Oh by the way my CE is still for sale.

I'll have to try and make it out there ona Fri evening, it sucks cause I'm comin from work in Manhattan...... traffik ect....LOL
