From Hondanews.com: "The CBR600's most radical redesign since the introduction of the RR in 2003 is highlighted by a whole new engine, frame, and bodywork that results in a smaller, lighter, more-powerful CBR600RR with a class-leading power-to-weight ratio and unparalleled performance."

Thanks, guys. Spread the word, will ya? :)

..... For a forum member, I would do my best to meet up half-way if they are out of state. :dontknow:

It really is a great bike... VERY stable at low and medium throttle... (haven't even opened it up) LOTS of beefy torque down low.... more than even the 'Busa!

Makes me really sad... but she's gotta go... along with the house and (even more sadly, the truck). :(

WTF??? :dontknow: Talk to us :(

Thanks again, Guys.... Let me elaborate.....

Yes, I am in some "trouble"... But, I'm also BLESSED with great, supportive folks (girlfriend/wife-to-be, Parents, friends (includes YOU ALL))... I am just "downsizing" is all. :dontknow:

I'm sure some of you have been in the same situation before.... I've lived "large" for some time now.... It's just time to settle-in and make some financial changes. :dontknow:

I'm getting rid of the bike because I don't "need" it.... I don't need the extra payment, I don't need the "worry" of something happening when I ride it (no health/life insurance)...

I'm getting rid of the house (we are leasing), because the market is in a place where we can get a smaller, more suited home, in a better neighborhood, and CHEAPER payments to own than "leasing"..... (We are going to close on one in the next 2 months that is MUCH better financially and physically for us)...

The truck.... well.... What can I say... I got a good deal on it. :dontknow: I really always wanted a RC SRT-10 or a Viper... :) I ended up with a QC. Still kinda baffles me to this day, really.... :p I cannot afford the Viper I want (1999 or OLDER GTS... preferably Sapphire Blue w/ Cognac Tan int..... :p ... ) So.... I WILL get a RC SRT-10 Ram... :dontknow: :D They are MUCH cheaper than my current payment (26k apposed to a 56K loan on my QC)....

My Dad LOVES my truck that I have now (So does my Mom. She "Borrows it", about every week to go pickup things she buys that won't fit in her PT GT Conv. :p ) ... So, he will, most likely, take over the payments. That way I can get what I want. :D

Anyway... Just down-sizing is all... I just really need to make some moves in the next two months, or so... Business has been REALLY tough this year. As it's been for MANY of us. :dontknow:

Again, thanks for all the concern. :) You all are great FAMILY...

Well glad to hear that all is still well:rock: .....you had me scared for a minute as I was reading through the posts.

Sorry about your situation but sounds like you got it figured out. I'll put the word out, I know alot of bike guys. ;)

Good luck with everything man! It does sound like you're on the right track! Atleast you have someone to take over your truck payments. :)

Jury's still out on all this.... But, thanks man. :) If ya know anyone that wants a nice bike, please let me know!

Hard but realistic changes in life Jake. Good for you and all the best in the future. It's looks like you're on the right track.

Doing most of the changes you have list, I might suggest re-evaluating getting rid of the 600RR, especially if you end up in a position of taking a large loss on it.
Not too mention I would suggest some sort of life insurance and/or disability insurance. Anything can happen, on a bike or as one of our members found out on a moped. :(

Take care,

Will

Jake, I may be interested. I've been looking for a busa for a while because of how comfortable they are. If you can, PM me with your impression of how the bike sits compared to a busa and also how it rides. Thanks bro!
