LOL What happens in the UK I believe is that when a truck is registered that becomes the year of the vehicle:dontknow: I know one thing @ $1.65 to the £1 they are proud of their 10,s

It's a 06 truck. I think the registration date in the UK (papers) is 2008.
Sometimes we see 2004-2005 trucks for sale in Holland with a 2006 registration on the dutch papers..
Forget the european registration dates and look on the door sticker for the real date of manufactured.

Yup, not BS, just dumb pricks at the registration office. I see that down here every once and a while. Most of the time they register it as the truck year but every now and then a kid from Burger King working double shifts will screw it up and make it something like a "2007 SRT/10 Ram". Model year is 2006, just registered as a 2007, human error. You can get it changed by proving to them it's a 2006 with a little "official" paper work.
