Anyone know or heard how to retrofit these heads to our GEN 3 engines? Supposively they will outflow any of the current modified heads for the GEN 3.

well lets see, different intake= hogan's intake. exhaust manifold= modified belanger's. valve covers= if there is clearance, stock should work. new ones just look like coil pack holders.:dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow:

Still waiting for info on the retrofit heads ???:dontknow:
I do not think they will be available for awhile,if at all.Better off going with ported heads for now!!

I found some 08 heads. Trying to find out out if they will fit? He says they will git Gen 2 & 3? I ask if there was any modifications needed to be done. Still waiting on the answer to that question.

Anyone on here know for sure? :dontknow:

I found some good information from Viper Alley .com

From what I have seen and understand, they will bolt on but you will need a gen4 intake and some custom throttle bodies (08 is electronic throttle). You will need to adapt the idle air motor to be used on the intake as well (idle is controlled through the throttle bodies on 08). The injectors have been moved to the heads so you will also need fuel rails. You might also need to change push rods.

"They will bolt onto a Gen 2 and Gen 3 block, but then the fun starts. I have a customer that is talking about doing it, but only because of the fact that it will be unique, and he wants something no one else has. It will be a custom one off build.

Buy some Strikers instead!"

I agree too. Or get your Gen 3s ported.

The Hemi guys did the same thing with the 6.1 intake. Took some time and money, but made an adapter kit for the 6.1 intake.
