That's the R/T which has now been made official. These photos are from way back in May of this year. 0-60 in about 6 seconds. Not bad but no SRT-10.

Thank you sir for the update.

Will Chrysler actually produce and sell it, regardless if it is a 8 or 10? According to the other Post, Cer.B.S. wants to stick a stake in the heart of the Viper and dump it on some other company, who knows who. Besides, Cer.B.S. seems confused on whether or not the Ram PU line is in their best business interests, see other Post about the Viper "sell off". :dontknow:

Why do these company's waste some much money on creating and testing concept cars that will obviously never make it to the production lines? :dontknow: Look at the tomahawk: obviously bad ass but practical and sensible? no.. then again a 500hp truck really isn't either of those either lol

IMO, private industry is just as F'd up as government. Who knows what each is thinking, scheming, politicizing, etc.... But, bringing back the DR as a performance model would be cool -- some manufacturer needs to bring to market an updated "hipo" truck to kick the crap out of the Tundra.

As was posted earlier, here it is in production trim:

Dodge Ram R/T (Sport) Regular Cab 4x2, Unloaded

Looks like it has standard Ram front suspention and standard brakes front and rear. Nothing performance shows.

That was an RT as stated earlier in this post. An SRT8 has been talked about for potential 09/10 model years, but nothing in stone.

An SRT-8 would be acceptable, but only if it has something like a supercharged 6.1 or the like! It would be a waste of time to bring out a wanna-be replacement of the SRT-10, that'll never come close to the original!
