I remember reading somewhere that ford stated they will be comingbup with a v6 version (ecoboost); that with some aftermarket parts will produce 500hp without opening up the motor. They will also offer it in a 5.0

It would be easy for them. They are offering V6s in all of the 1/2 ton truck lineup for 2011; including the "projected" 400 h.p. V-6 tt Ecoboost engine.
