The low end tq is lower on the max, but makes up for it when its revs up. Trust me, stock for stock the max is the most powerful.......... considerably. You really have to be loaded heavy to tell which one has the most power.

I drove my boss's 08 2500, it was real sluggish at take off and 3/4 way through the rpms but as soon as it hit 5grand it took off pretty good. I like the low end grunt and sound of the cummins
