So far so good ! Smaller footprint on my counter and the first test thawing out my home made Dirty sock stew took a bit longer than the old one by a few minutes , hmmmm . This one is a 1.1 cubic and 1000 watts … I have now idea what the old one was but it could when it wanted to cook like a outdoor barbecue grill It was time for a new one lol
The test will continue with the new one today ! Maybe it will fry ice cream lol What is fried ice cream and how do you fry it ?
Yes , it made that sound .. but the new one gave me a problem when it went ding and the cooking was done the door was looked .. Damn it I had to read the instructions hahaha
1 = Push zero to unlock and open the door …
2 = How to disable the safety child lock . Push and hold 0 for 3 seconds till it shows LOC THEN PUSH 7 and 9 once consecutive for 10 seconds and the screen shows ULOC ..
IM WONDER HOW MANY MORE WORTHLESS SECRETS THIS THING HAS LOL . But then again maybe I should leave the lock on so the cat doesn’t climb in with out me knowing it …

They say DONT USE ANYTHING METAL IN THE MICROWAVE..
WELL I bought some pre prepared meals at Publix and it say put in microwave to cook .. They are in aluminum tins with a plastic cover .. It didn’t arc or flash or spark and worked .. how the heck can that be ?

Yes and they are good if you don't blow them up all over the inside lol

Hahaha I hadn't read this post yet when I posted hahaha
They always blow up hahaha shell shrapnel everywhere ..
Even cracked open and put in a special egg cooker you can only do about 30 seconds and then start another 30 seconds while you watch very close and hit the off button or open the door .. If not Pop , splat and you have to clean the inside of the microwave again .
The pic is my microwave egg cooker and to long it will blow it open and splatter the eggs in a small explosion hahaha

I just break an egg into a small glass dish and stir it then hit the 30 second button a couple times - usually works out pretty good!
This is my hard boil egg maker … 7 at a time .. 99% of the time the shells just fall off .. it actually freaked my oldest son off when he grabbed the egg and the shells just fall just slid off instantly hahaha

I think it depends on the power setting of the microwave . Mine was a big powerful one , heck took up a huge chunk of my counter top ..
I just use the frying pan
About 50 years ago, I put a Pizza in a microwave.
I accidentally pressed Pootaytoe and it was still a Pizza when the bell went off.
False advertising, I'd say.
That was the last time I used one.
