Yes it is ,, he piced it up , hes laughing also .. he got more than I got , damn .. not posionous which is good .. mom and dad were right there .. mom smpretty much amwild life expert on things with the federal gov.

Here is one of my encounters with a pigmy rattle snake ..
I was at a local park and had to go to the bathroom ,, while im doing my business at the urnal . I looked down to the right and there it was about 10 inches from my foot all nicely coiled up in strike mode .. i wasnt about to make a move and didnt know what to do at the moment , thinking .. finished my business and decided to jump away from it as far and fast as i could ... it didnt strike which it if it had would have got me.
Maybe it was just waiting in line to use the urnal lol .. true story .. I dont play with snakes , I chop them up into compost ..

Pigmy rattle snakes have a nasty bite .. ive had several other close calls with those short fat as snakes ..

Then there is the 2 times to close with a coral snake .. their deadly as hell

rattle snakes not my favorite! I don't care which variety! I do let gophers and rosey boas go along their way though - but Rattlers always get snuffed unless there's no one to do it for me then i leave them to go away. Out here they live their lives in a radius of about 5 miles from what I know - or think i know hahahaha

My Dad encountered one when I was twelve, we lived in the dez - it was coiled so he shotgunned it and made sure it was in pieces before he pinned the head to the ground and picked it up to show all us kids what they looked like.

Well, as a typical snake would have it - when Dad grasped behind the head, it was able to get a fang into his thumb! That reaction you hear about. It's true!

So he did over a week in USC medical center and a snake bite expert was flown in to handle the situation. Had both fangs been involved that say he would have died.

He made it through that very long week and I'll tell you it's something I'll never forget!

Off with their heads!!! And never trust a snake - even a dead one!

That was a Diamondback rattlesnake from what I know. The worse offender is the mojave green, different Venom

And the scariest thing is the Catalina rattlesnake - it has no rattles!!
