So I take my 06 RC in to the local dealership for an oil change and to have them fix the 12v power outlet, that keep's blowing fuses when nothing is plugged into it. Sounds simple enough. That morning as I'm warming the truck up in the driveway, the check engine light comes on. So long story short, it turns out to be code PO533. They replace an AC relay and I go pick up the truck. As I go to drive away I see the check engine light on, so I go back. Well they have had my truck for 26 days now. They can't figure out what is going on....or so they say. They won't give me the codes, but say they are replacing the O2 sensors and looking for a short. 26 days for sensor's and a short?? Oh and they can't tell me if they fixed the power outlet....blown fuses=short, heck what do I know. I hope they don't screw me over on the warranty. :( :( :( :(

It's a different dealership. My buddy own's the dealership I bought it from, but it's about 750 miles away. I spoke to his service manager that I've known for years and he can't believe it either. :dontknow:

I would pull it out of there,if its warranty they might get excited see the cash cow leave, probably charging lots back to Chrysler!

That is just stupid time at the deallership for that stuff. When I bought mine last year, Oct. It was still in warrenty and I had a rear main leak, and other leaks and thing that the dealler repaired. They had to pull motor and all, I had it back in 2 weeks,no problems. I would realy be on there a** if you know what I mean. Good luck, and chase them down, make them give you answers.

Thats taking way too long, I wouldn't trust these guys. Cant imagine what other damage they are causing. Everyone thinks things get repaired at a repair shop, but sometimes it can go the other way. Although if they keep adding new parts then thats alright for you.

I can't tell you how hard it is dealing with these people. I'm away from home working on a project and won't be back home for another couple of weeks. They even had the balls to ask for my copy of the 06 truck shop manual. I find it hard to believe they don't have one. When I get back on dayshift I will be able to make some calls.

A quick story about the same dealership; I was out driving my '73 Dodge Colt in the summer, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2201449, when it dies right at the dealership. Nothing like this had ever happened before with the car. I had no tools with me, so I asked them to have a look. Three hours later they want $900 to fix the car. I go down and have a look.....they had pulled the red plastic cover off the battery post and I could see the clamp was cracked. $2.50 later at their part's counter and things are good as new. I should have known better then use them again.

id be beatin' someone lol and telling them to kiss my A#@

hope things werk out 4u best of luck to you

They aren't at all concerned about lawsuits. Most attorneys won't even think about filing against them unless you have a 100K retainer. I know, I called them when my truck kissed a telephone pole dead center and the airbags did not deploy. They basically said, "Oh, Well" and that I didn't aim correctly. 20K damage to the truck and I didn't F___n aim correctly.

I spoke to the dealership today. They are now saying they are having trouble fixing my truck because of it's build date. They are saying that due to it being built in late May 06 that some of the wiring is 06 and some is 07. They keep getting error codes and Chrysler is making them replace one part at a time. I'm not buying this. My guess is the main computer is fried and they don't want to pay for it.

If your truck is being repaired under warranty tell them you want a tech rep from chrysler to look at it. If they refuse, call chrysler. But only if they are replacing under 3/36 warranty.

Ok, my truck has now been in the shop for 37 days. The dealer was working with Chrysler to figure out the control module issue. Today they inform me they are going to build a new one from scratch. Oh, can you leave your truck for another month? I will finally be home late next week and can see these people face to face. My truck will be at home next Thursday.

Mine was built in late May 06...no issues.....the main computer is probably less than $100 cost for Chrysler....sounds to me like your dealer is playing some kind of games....:dontknow:

Man that shit is unacceptable, these guys should be ashamed and utterly embarressed. Take it to another dealer, friggin rediculous.

You might want to check the miles on her. Kinda sounds like they might be taking it for joy rides and know you are out of town.
