It must be Christmas. After 44 days, and ironically the day I arrived back in town, my truck is fixed. The WO says they reconfigured the Total Intergrated Power Module with new software from Chrysler Engineering. Fantastic. The 20amp fuse that keeps blowing for no reason is still blowing. I guess I have the rest of the winter to sort that out myself.

The drive home was interesting though. It was -36 with the windchill yesterday and tons of snow and ice on the ground. There are some steep hills to come up into my part of town, but we got home ok, until I got stuck on my street. Well, a few good donuts and a sweet looking "Rockford" and my 10 is in my heated garage.:) :) :)

. . . This thread is a few months old.

Was the dealership able to "reconfigure" your TIPM, or did they replace it? My fog lights stopped working and my research leads me to believe it's the TIPM.

I guess my question(s) are: 1) Did they reconfigure or replace your TIPM 2) Did whatever the f**k they did fix your problem.

Sorry Roz, I missed your post. They did not replace the TIPM. Once the snow is gone, (yes we got another foot last night), I will be able to get out on the road to see if the check engine light stays out.

Here's another update on my truck Roz and oldcolt. After having the same problem with the TIPM, I took it to the dealer, and they had it fixed the next day. Fogs were working again and everything seemed in order. After having the truck for a few days, I noticed that my headlights were coming on as I hit the unlock button on the keyless entry and thought that was weird. Well 2 nights ago, I go out to start my truck and here clack, clack, clack. Tried to jump the truck without success at home. So now tommorow, I have to get this damn thing towed back to the dealer and have them figure out what they did that has either drained my battery, alternator, or possibly what has must up my starter. This is the biggest pain in the ass, and Im really starting to get tired of it. I'll keep you guys updated with the progress.

Thanks for the info. It will be at least two weeks before I get to drive my truck (work schedule). My dealership was useless, I hope yours is better.

Bob Dance Dodge in Sanford Got any better recommendations? I live in Lake Mary so its the closest dealer to me.

Alright guys heres the update:
Took the truck in this afternoon at 1 p.m. They gave me a new battery due to the tipm draining my battery, fixed my o2 sensor problem i have had forever, and reprogrammed the tipm module so that the lights dont come on when i use my keyless. Oh yea, and I got my truck back today! And they covered it under warranty! Quite impressed.
