I love the viper, but to be honest my friend it wont be the hottest thing on the strip and it will be safe with a bunch of trucks around it...(besides you have full coverage right???) As far as cost goes, well /i'm broke as shit and it think /i can make it. If I'm driving a 4-6 hours it'd better be to go to something fun.

I am more concerned with it getting keyed(its got 12 yr old paint), or the valet taking it for a spin. as long as we have a good place to keep them thats fine. I wasnt planning on staying at the belagio or winn so not sure if they have good parking at the barbary coast
just want to make sure our rides are well accounted for

just so i understand this...we took a poll and that said Cali, then we said screw that idea and voted vegas. logically what was the point of the poll? guess vegas makes it easy for other to fly in.

We should do vegas... 1/4 race track, alky everywhere, black jack, girls, i'm thinking of leaving the gf at home. Those that want to bench race can jsut hang at a hotel, those that want to party till the morning can move on. fyi, looking at a map vegas seems to be a fairly central place.

Sacramento is a loooooong drive from AZ, more than 8 hours. How can you lose by choosing Vegas? I bet you'll get a better turnout than any other option.

The first thing that needs to be done is find a track that has an open date. Firebird is always busy with testing and a high price. Speedworld is low key and we've been there. Also easy to get support racers to offset cost, we need to invite the Viper Club and the Mopars Unlimited club and make sure they don't have a conflicting event like the last GTG. Las Vegas is a high dollar facility that has Mopars at the Strip on March 28th. The Cannery Casino is near the track and is headquarters for the Mopar event. If not being used their Amphatheatre has a walled area we could probably arrange to park our trucks in. It's used as a car show area (approx 40 vehicles) and they might like that possibility. It's right at a side door to the Casino and buffet. If at Speedworld we have a lot of hotels in Peoria by the sports complex or Glendale by the NFL stadium, both have lots of restuarants.
