Sacramento is home of the best track in Cali but is it worth the drive? I like the Vegas idea and the Phoenix idea but both tracks suck with the exception of Vegas being the best off the line traction track I've ever been to. Los Angeles has no tracks unless you count Fontana (California Speedway) and the 1/8 mile tracks which the Florida boys can have. San Diego is also lined with 1/8 mile tracks as well. Bakersfield would be the best option if the poll picked Cali IMO.

Good question. After attending the Florida GTG the hanging out was more fun than the racing part. Maybe we could combine both. The first day is to hang out and the second day is to race.

For me the drag racing is a big part of it... a track at sea level or close would be kinda like a double jointed supermodel with no gag reflex.

I haven't voted on this pole yet cause I really don't know if I'll have the heart back in the truck by this time or not.

Same here. Couldn't have said it better:rock: Vegas has good traction but it is a slow track. I think I would get high 13's and that is not worth the drive for me.

YES!! I know it's hard to think of a date so far ahead, but if I'm going to get flights cheap enough to convince Begood that we have to go, then I need to know dates in order to find the cheap flights.

Last weekend in January?? First weekend in February??? I need to know!!!

I have wanted to make it to a West Coast GTG for awhile now, and this may be the one I can finally make . . . if we don't dawdle on the date for to long :dontknow:

yep. I mean there aint shit to do in bakersfield besides the track...

As far as SD goes, I think its too far for the northern folks...

Phoenix....I dont feel like driving 2 extra hours to be in phoenix...

Vegas,,,,well it has it all!!!!

Race in the morning, shoot some guns at lunch( always wanted to shoot an Ak47) and hell have lunch or dinner at the vegas buffet, Gamble, smoke and drink in the casino. ?Then a cruise down the strip in 20-40 Trucks with open exhaust and have cameras every where for BRAD to tape... Then around the late nite shoot to a club or a strip club:dontknow:

That sounds like the best gtg for the VTCOA. Some of the members shuold just make a vacation out of it, Seems like you guys could use after stressing night after night on the political bullshit.

But if you guys want grill some hot dogs and just race at the track thats cool too...
