thats the thing, eveyone is labeling this as mine, not true...i just want to get people together. plus TIm i really wanted to give you the KUBA KUBA you wanted so bad:D

That's that ACID cigar if I'm correct..... Well, I'd smoke it with you, Carlo. But I'm not a big fan of cigars that taste like a Calcuttan incense Bazaar.... On second thought maybe I'll bring you a Cohiba Sublimas and we can call it even.....

I'm not saying "your" as in "Carlo's" .. I'm saying "yours", as in the AZ guys....

What I really "want so bad" is another thing altogether..... ;)

One of the reasons i mentioned vegas is because its a real simple place to

meet up. Not only that, any part of vegas or hotel will have no promblem

accomodating a group of our size. My thoughts were that everybody just

show up at the dragstrip a open time the day of. If you want to get there

the night before and stay at a hotel or motel of your choice that would be

completely up to the person going. For those that remember food is very

important part of the gtg. For those that remember in the bakersfield gtg we

easily overwhelmed the staff at the peanut place and it took me a half hour

and 30 mins to get chilifries and a glass of water... I just thought it would be

better if we had dinner or lunch at a casino buffet where everyone can enjoy

numerous helpings of prime rib, crab legs a chicken without having to wait

and in a nice place where we can all sit together. After that I'd figure we rub

elbows and play one dollar black jack and drink a few beers. Like I said as

well maybe even throw a lil caravan cruise down the strip in the trucks and

enjoy the sights and lights at night.( I think its legal in nevada to let people

ride in the back so people who dont bring their trucks can hitch a ride. As

far as activites go there is tons and think this gtg would be a great time for

some folks to turn into a mini vacation.

WHERE-- VEGAS
WHEN--- FEB 09

I wouldn't mind seeing this gtg in Vegas myself. But at this time it is running 3rd on the poll.
btw Does this mean you will be one of the organizers for a Vegas gtg?

I remember the peanut tossing at the bakersfield gtg. We did kinda overwhelm those lil waitresses. And as for you having to wait a half hour and 30 minutes for chili cheese fries, that REALLY SUX ;) ;) :D

I voted for San Diego, but would much rather head to Vegas, either place is about the same distance form my place, but Vegas is a little more entertaining. Besides Feb 9th is a couple days before I become officially old (60).

AZ GTG:
Carlo (BurntRubber)
Mikey (The Sickness)

LA/Bakersfield GTG:
Brad and Jayme (SrtBrad & SrtBradsBoss)
Jerry (Trainman)

Vegas GTG:

San Diego GTG:
OC

Thing is, there are no 1/4 tracks down there, so this would not be a huge drag racing event.

We could always bbq at my place, I'm about an hour or so from Barona. We also have a great place for cart racing here.

There is golf at Barona, deep sea fishing, whale watching, Sea World (serve beer hehe).

But if the racing is what is important this probably isn't the best of choices.

I am working on seeing if the track would open for us and at what price. As far as what to do down in Bakersfield I'd have Jerry (Trainman) chime in on this.

Hell maybe we could start this GTG on Friday night in Vegas go to San Diego on Saturday and end up in Bakersfield on Sunday. Wow that would be a planning nightmare.
