Not a bad idea I blew the rearend out of mine a few years back and it cost a good bit to get it back home!
Hauled it down the next year mine didn't break but someone elses did and we were able to help him out getting his baby home:elefant:

yea still jus always have them negative thoughts in the back of my head id feel safer if the motor was forged but with only 5 psi of boost hopefully i aint playing with trouble:dontknow:

Id trailer it if I were you and you had a trailer. The QC's dont get great gas mileage in the first place, AND (i pray it doesnt happen) if something bad does happen, you got a ride (either way) to get home.

They ARE meant to be driven. So far I drove #1900 to PCB from Houston and back then a month later to Macon, Ga. and back. That doesn't include the trips to Dallas, San Antonio and Louisiana. And she's ready for a driven trip to PCB again.
