488 rearend change

ok so i am having a dealership here install my diff and 488 gear ,,they just called and said it is going to throw my speedometer and abs off a bit ,,can i get my sct tuner to set this up right ???

HELP STINKER....If they install the ring gear ABS sensor it will not affect anything Right????

Now your SCT tuner will not help any of this. All my ABS funtions are fine. The speedo I am not sure some say it is going to be off some say is going to not even change. To the best of my knowledge it did not change. Good Luck man you are going to love it!!!!!!!!!!!

Should not affect speedo or ABS.....your dealer is thinking old school speedo with gears and cable..not used any more..

No codes at all, I am not sure if they know what then are talking about. Get ahold of Ernie (IH8CHVY) He has a Viper tech friend that built mine and I beleive put his in for him.

OK, Ernie just spoke to his Viper tech that set up his gear and Griffs gear and the guy said the ABS sensor parts are reused with the 4:88 gear and the ABS and the speedo will work fine. The only thing that will affect your speedo would be a different height tire which they can easily adjust at the dealership thru the computer. You need to call them and be sure they know what they are doing.
