I agree but IIRC I read there's a hump in the metal where that mounts to which would make it very difficult to smooth.

There is a guy that stops by our shop. He has one the same color, lowered with rims. Looks awesome.
I am pretty sure that his is smooth. I will take a pic next time I see it.
Its not one of those panels either.
