I do not own a cell phone do not plan to get a cell phone and cant figure why in the world everone needs to be tethered to the rest of civilization every frickin min of the day .Might this be why most are under sooooo much stress ???? I see ppl every day and it looks to me like the phone owns them not the other way around . I am also one of those a-holes who if you take a call during our conversation ,it's over and I will walk away end of conversation ,since you pointed out how I rate <G>

but I unfortunatly have to have one

when on the road its much easier to contact my brokers..

the other plus is I can talk with guys in cali and TX without any LD charges.

hell I even spoke with the allmighty Nowwhat once

but sundays is off limits, its turned off one day a week unless I'm away from the woman.

I have had a cell phone for about 15 years. Its a must with my business. I just choose when I answer it...............many times throughout the day I do not answer. Great thing about it is the caller ID. Most of the time you know whom is calling. I rarely use my home phone and have not had LD service on it for years. Every one of my friends calls the cell phone first. I would cancel the home phone except for need of a fax line.

I fully understand for some ppl on the road ,truckin ,sales etc it is a nessesity
but for most it's not . The way I look at it is if you can ot get me at home or shop then the few hours left are MINE . Look at the PR move to sell cells to 4 year old kids ,thats just greed . They are already working on inplant phones .Then it will be normal for every one to hear voices in thier head and gaud to think poor Sickness will be dubbed more normal ,alas where is the world headed .

If I'm in a conversation with someone and my phone rings, I always ask if it's okay to take the call if I feel it's important. I have had people ask that we finish our business first, and I respect their wishes.

I guess this the same with any business. I know I have walked out of stores because I'm trying to be helped, or in some cases paying for something and the phone rings. They then help this person, and leave me standing there. Screw the person on the phone. I'm there with money in hand, not checking your price in comparision with another place.
