6.0 GTO vs. SRT10 vs. 07 Mustang GT

Got my first kill the other night coming into town. I pulled up to the light and looked down at a guy who had just got his car. Still had temp plates on it (well so does mine). Anyways, I know these trucks have wheelspin issues so I eased out and punched it. We went to about 70 and I let off as I had him by 2 cars already. We pull up to the next light and he's like what does that have in it, I told him it was a 8.3 liter and he said "oh, mine's only got a 6.0." I saw him later that night and realized it was someone I'd went to school with.

A few hours later I was hanging out at the local spot and a guy who had just gotten his Mustang started talking crap about my truck. The only thing he had done was a full exhaust, so I wasn't too concerned. We went out on the highway and went from 30-130. I pulled about 2.5 good cars on him and suprised him pretty good and that was shifting early and soft as I'm still not used to shifting this beast. He still hasn't talked to me... :dontknow:

Street racing is illegal and extremely dangerous..........

I've lost many friends and family members as a result of this practice.

Good advice but temptation is strong and the right foot is weak...... ......That said the GTO should have done better and the Mustang worse...unmodded the GT Stangs arent much...

I have had many a red light races myself... nothing crazy... just go till some one gets the advantage or hits grandma in the wheel chair... whichever comes first.

I understand what your saying, but I went out to the drag strip last weekend and only got two runs in because people were dumping oil down the track. It blew and I was there for three freakin hours!!! Street racing can be safe, inexpensive, convenient, you don't have to wait hours between runs, and you can run who YOU want to. When it gets that way at the track I'll go back. It just pissed me off to pay and not get to play, thats all.

I tell you right now, if I line up with you in that Tank of Truck I am going to smoke you like a pack of KOOLS. My GTO screams and take bitch does not let up. Well unless you are stinker or 504, or basically got forced induction.

Driver mod...the kid had gotten the car a week prior, well so had I but....

Anyways, at first I didn't think he was even racing, but then we were hanging out later that night and he actually told everyone that I killed him. That's when the guy with the mustang started talking crap so we went out and ran them. I also just roll raced a 12.0 second camaro the other night and only lost by one car from 40-120. I'm working on them giving me the video too. Damn good race!!
