FastRam said:Cool conversion. I saw another one last year on ebay -- guy did the same style conversion. The only problems I see with this one is suspension, driveshaft and axles/carriers. The suspension does not leave much room for articulation/flex without the tires hitting. Take that Jeep into the rough stuff, rocks, deep ruts, you can count on tire rub with possible body damage, depending on the situation.
Jeeps and other short wheel base vehicles can have horrible problems with driveshaft angle and vibrations when lifted anywhere beyond OEM ride height. Also, the Dana 44's and OEM lockers will not be long for this world with the increased torque output of the 6.1 and the increased tire diameter/size. Stock up on front drive U-joints and axles. Also, for 37's the gearing may need upgrading to 4.88's.

Personally, I would like see a little more distance between the tires and fender openings - I don't like laying down on the bump stops too much. Also according to Rubicon's catalog, the JK, including the 4 door, will need driveshaft mods -- new shafts with 1310 CV's and yokes.
Yes the Rubicon, straight out of the box, is one very capable trail rig. I was considering one as well but wanted a 10 more -- I already got a "jacked up" 4x 4 -- didn't need 2.
