Some of you might have picked up a bit about the guy I met when out at the track with Dale. Turns out that there's a lot more than meets the eye about this guy's Charger! It's a full-on build, and it has been moderately publicized. His name's Devin Meucci. Check the car out on its web site too:

Here's a few photos of it at the track. He later hit his best of a high 11.:

No lie.

I told the guy I had two '68's waiting their turn in my shop, and he stepped right up offering to help. Kinda wierd being in love with a car, or an era of car, but it sure feels good.;)

Beautiful Car!! I miss WA state

What do you miss about this Festering Shit Hole? :dontknow: The gray skies? The almost constant rain? :dontknow: Never being able to plan anything as an outside activity without the knowledge that there is at least a minimum of 20% chance it will rain that day?

And don't even get me going on the politics of this state.

Well hell, I'm on a roll now. The city of Seattle and King County want to subsidize housing for Artist. What the hell is that shit?????:dontknow:  They want to take my tax dollars and pay the rent for people that do not want to find a F'ing job. Talk about bullshit.

Damn, better quit before I pop a gasket.

Well here in good ole Michigan while unemployment is at near record levels and home forclosure IS at record levels, our head Bitch...errr governor has doubled all license costs (plate, drivers license, title transfer, etc), raised our state income tax, closed a lot of state parks, refuses to end the single business tax (we are the only state that has one), and imposed a fee if you get three or more tickets in a 2 year period you have to pay the state $500 on top of all the ticket costs. Oh did I mention the economy here is in the toilet!

Bill.

Okay, and the 10 day forcast is for showers on Saturday.

I get a god damn kick out of this place. Read the news from one of local new stations.

SEATTLE -- Hot, dry and windy conditions have raised a red flag warning for high fire danger in Western Washington, forecasters said.

The National Weather Service said an excessive heat warning is also in effect until 11 p.m. on Wednesday because of high temperatures reaching into the 90s in the Seattle, Tacoma and Everett areas.

"The heat wave is hitting the Seattle area," said KIRO 7 weather anchor Rick VanCise, who forecasted a high temperature of 91 at Sea-Tac Airport on Tuesday, setting a new record for the date. The record, set in 1945, is 90 degrees.

Forecasters said northeast winds and low humidity will develop Tuesday afternoon, creating the conditions for high fire danger that triggered the red flag warning.

"This will cause fuels to dry quickly and could create control problems for any fires that get started," said a weather service statement.

Forecasters warned heat illnesses are likely and urged people to drink plenty of fluids, avoid exertion and check on relatives and neighbors.

My god, it's going to be 90. People will be dying in the streets.

Anyone from Arizona, Texas, Florida, New Mexico want to comment on our Killer Heat Wave.

Hell it was mid 90s here all weekend, and my son and I were at the racetrack all day sunday.

Funny you should say that. We had to pick our youngest up at the hospital last night after collapsing during football practice (heat exhaustion, dehydration).

It's not the heat, it's the heat you're not used to that gets ya.

Damn, sorry to hear that Eric. Is he okay???

And you are correct. We really do not have a spring here where the temperature gradually warms up. Three weeks ago it was rainy and in the 50's and 60's.
