Reached a mile stone today. The ole girl turned 70k on the odometer, and 45k with the Paxton installed. She is no garage queen she is my DD, and I love every minute behind the driver's seat.

Who said you need a fully built motor to go FI? Its all in the tune ;) .

That's great man..... the Paxton is about the only way I think I'll be able to go because I don't think I'll be able to build my motor. + The Paxton kit is more in my price range.

I'm looking to find one used though. Did Torrie tune yours?
 
What up Alex!? I am only around 40 still but i only drive 3 miles to work each day and an occasional road trip! Still hitting the bottle once in a while for fun...there is a perfect drift lot right next to our place too. We should meet up you been to the track at all? I haven't in over a year!
 
Aren't the Roe's less than the Paxtons? a Zex kit was more in my price range at the time but if i had it to do all over again i would have just put on a paxton and not done any of the other mods cause they all ad up to about that price i just did them one at a time!

I've been really busy with work the last 2 months. My company acquired a new contract and I was placed in charge of it. Hopefully things will go back to normal shortly.

Actually the Roe is a little cheaper than the Paxton. Doug Levin was the one that installed the SC and tuned it.

Not much Chad. I've been really busy with work, and really haven't had a chance to hit the track. I'm actually going to hitting the dyno this week to get the truck tuned for the water/meth injection

I see that you have the IAT sensor MOD. How is that working out for ya? Is it easy to do?

Piece of cake...... You can search and find instructions. I don't think it really affects anything other than tricking your PCM into thinking your truck is sucking in cooler air, which in turn increases you air/fuel mixture and timing.

From what I understand if you have a tune you shouldn't need to do this. For those who don't have tunes it's an easy way to do the above stated.

What's wrong with that. I load up my truck with tree trimmings and take them to the neighborhood dump.

70k,not badd,but I just traded mine in with just shy 97k !! Guess I can start all over again with the new toy !!:(
