8.0 block repaint.

well sometime over the summer imma pull the heads off my 95 to rebuild the top end. and i figure since i'll more than likely pull the fenders and front bumper i'll paint the engine. nothin serious just a rustolium rattle can job. they make a paint for engine blocks and it seems to last a while. so i was wonderin what ya'll would think? Big block orange, or big block blue? personally i think the orange would go with the red exteror better.

yeah thats what my buddy said too, that and orange is more of a bowtie color too.. just gotta figure out what to do with the intake and valve covers... i got the truck when my gpa passed away so it would be nice to do somethin for him ya know?

Well you dont have to ask us anything then. Just ask what your gpa would do. If you put your all in it and do it right with taste, you will have a truck that will make him proud and the truck will be a great memorial to remember him by. Sunday drives down the back roads, you'll smell the interior, hear that familiar exhaust and youll know hes riding shotgun with you.

well thats the problem... the reason i am piecing back together is from what he done to it. he wasnt realy stable, he was a good man and treated me like his son. and i'll love him to the day i die for raisin me but he never really gave two ****s what happened to the truck after the tranny went. its sat for the last 5 years. im slowly reviving it and doin my thing while keepin him in mind at the same time... maybe im makin it too hard on myself tho..

plan on it. i aint never done things half assed, somethin i got from my gpa, and i know this truck aint gonna come together all at once. the big things are gonna have to wait till after college. but before i wanna knock out the engine rebuild, trans rebuild, tires, and exhaust. i think thats a realistic goal for now till i git a better payin job

lol i tell people ive been 18 since i was 12. i always hung around older people and learned alot from them at a real young age. im glad for that but it makes gettin along with my peers harder.
