...ive heard of 6 foot guys fitting but i know the 00 i drove would not work for me...at he time i was a lil heavier 325 and about 6'4... wonder with a cut down seat frame if icould fit...hmmm

They do make a kit that drops the seat down and back for you tall guys. At 6'0" I fit in a Viper perfectly.

The one I drove, I had to move the seat foward. But I'm only 5'6".

My bad, I meant to say power mirrors. All GTS Vipers have power windows.

I'm sure there are some other minor differences, nothing really significant. Pretty sure rear end,trans, and suspension parts are the same.

They did upgrade the radiator fan on the 99s.

If anybody is serious about buying one there is a red 97' GTS with 44K miles for $28k on the Viper Alley.

Too many miles. I've been watching a few... I really just shouldn't buy anything until my fiance and I buy a house. Still in a lease in the house were in now and in the market to buy. Just don't want to tie up anymore finances until after buying the house.
