96 Trans Am 5.7 LT1 w/ Corvette Wheels

heres the problem with that car,if its acting like it needs a tuneup and the water pump is bad more than likely the water pump leaked into the distributor and ruined it,the distributor sits right below the water pump and doesnt have a decent seal,i replaced two of those distributors on my 94 z28,the parts alone are 400 for the distributor not including labor

Yeah, my bro mentioned that, this car has the "opti-spark" coil that sits right under the waterpump (why the hell would they do that?) The coil is ok now but too much more water drippage will definately screw that up. And my brother said a tune up would be over $800 on that car. $1400 might be half ok, but i really think he would take less if someone serious made an offer...

I dont care if it sales or not, just putting it out there if someone interested. Now my lil dakota for sale runs and drives great!!!:D

I might actually be able to get him to part it out cheap if all the parts get called for (seriously), but you would have to pic them up cause there wont be any shipping...

Well the car is in Valdosta (about an hour away) and i wont have time to get more pics for a few days, and the car is lock (he has the keys in new york) so i wont be able to get inside or motor pics. I do have one of the engine before the new (but used) motor was installed though. The guys said when i have a serious buyer he'll overnight the title and keys...

SO it used to be red? Really tune ups are not near that expensive and the Opti-spark dist is usually the fault in an LT1. Water pump can be a little high but I'd say with about $4-500 it should be a great car.;)

long way from valdosta to cali. cost at least 1500 to get it out there

Usually its beach cars and north eastern cars cars that have nasty undercarriages... from all the damn salt
