That Vette looks great, even the correct color red! If it's a survivor car I'd just do a light restoration... paint and engine rebuild. That's what we should have done to dad's instead of a full out restoration.
The Charger looks like it's in great shape. Need more pics.
Tell your dad not to resto-mod that caddy! It's too clean and its a convertible.
I love old barn finds... I'm still hoping to do that one day.
If it's a survivor car, don't do ANYTHING to it... especially if it runs (with minimal effort... ie: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc). If you repaint or try to polish the paint you will LOOSE half the value. Keep ALL parts you take off... no matter how bad they look.
Send me more pics of the Vette, when you get a chance, Eddie (
[email protected] ). Especially of the vin and body tags, any engine numbers you can find, and if you can... casting numbers off the trans and rear end. I can find out exactly what you have.... Also, check for a build sheet stuck to the top of the gas tank (you can feel around up there by hand from under the car. If you feel something, DO NOT REMOVE IT!)... Also, if you find a maintanence booklet with a metal tag attached to it, it's called a "Protecto Plate" (see here:
Protecto Plate). Those are also very valuable with the car. Be very very careful doing anything to the car, if you think it's a survivor (all original). Corvette collectors are extremely picky/fickle! I'd hate to see you not get what it's worth because of a mis-guided mistake.

If just the wheels are original, date-coded, Kelsey wheels they could be worth $12-15k! You could have a real gold-mine there.
