A few vids from Friday night

Nice runs. It looks like you caught the guy in the first video  and the Lightning guy :dontknow:.

Two out of my four runs, I didnt let off quick enough and I bounced off the rev limiter. That's not a good thing, while it's under full boost. Or at least, i dont think it is. How tall all ur slicks?

Yeah, the Dolphins dont learn from their mistakes. They need to pay Bill Cowher what he wants and give him full reign. If not, no way will he come.

What are your shift points? I have a couple of tunes with different shift points and I don't hit limiter in third. Sometimes from 2nd to 3rd I have to feather the throttle if it doesn't shift by 6k. Slicks are 31.5 diameter.

oh i know. Its weird though, i know your suppose to leave on the last yellow, but it defently looks like you defently left before the green.

The faster you get the trickier it gets to leave on the last yellow, without timing it real close. My last run, I actually red lighted (-.015). But, for right now, I'm still leaving on the last yellow. :)

I think that may be me problem. My DR's are 29.5". I think the taller slicks would allow me to go through the traps at a little bit lower RPM.

I leave on the last yellow as well, if I red light so be it, I'm not chancing on losing because I was sleeping at the line. My best reaction was a .0007 a few weeks ago.

Here's the time slips. Notice the 1.59 60 ft and .006 reaction time. Both were on the lightning. :D
All the runs were in full street weight, nothing has been removed.

I hate to point this out but the only reason you had a 1.59 60' was because you were staged with your rear tires on the starting line, therefore you had a full truck length shorter to go to the 60' line. I'm surprised they didn't make you back up, but it's also why your speed was less, you didn't run a full 1320' thus your speed was 110+ instead of 113+. Check the video, on your burnout, you run the front tires through the beams and you never back up, instead you light the beams with your rear tires. What was your 60' on the other runs, they are more accurate. I also think you're not allowing enough time to cool down, speeds will slow with heat soak, and with a supercharger it is even more critical to cool down.

Sonofabitch!! You are right. I did not even notice that when I watched it the first time.

LOL!!!!!! Holy crap. You're right!!! How the hell did the officials let me stage like that?!?! I think the rest of the 60 ft times were around 1.76 range.

I'm not so sure. Might just be the angle. Look at the video with the yellow camaro. Look at where his front tires are as well. :dontknow:

ah, second video with the "L"... you dorked

Nothing gets past Grampa Train...and the DA that night was 232' at 10pm, near perfect air. I could smoke that lightning:rock:

The second run they made the Camaro back up.:D

Your gonna have to race again. This time line up right, and honk your horn to wake the guy in the L up next time.

I think the Lightning owner was waiting for them to stage Santeen correctly and it caught him off-guard. And Santeen...if you race him again, make sure you have at least 1 hour cool down before you run...I think you will tree him, your lights were excellent.

I think Santeen confused the guy in the L as well.
