I finally got around to ripping that stupid blend door out today. Big improvement on the passenger side. It is sooooo hot and humid here you need SCUBA gear to be outside.

lol, you gonna replace it? There was a company that made better ones. Someone will post up

How did you do it? Mine makes a terrible noise on high and barely blows.

Here is the company that sells the doors. Explains everything on that page of where what is.

Thanks man. I have warranty that will cover this, but every time someone else gets there hands on my vehicles they always screw something up. To fix properly you have to pull the whole dash right? Is it worth the risk of somebody getting in there potentially wrecking something or doing a shit job?

Take the blower motor out, reach in and grab it. If it is broken, like mine was, turn it sideways and pull it out. Takes 10 minutes. So far I really don't see the need to replace it with the metal ones. Only difference I can tell is that I can't use re-circ. It finally blows cold out of the pass side.

Maybe I have a different problem? It doesnt blow out of any vents no matter what setting it's on.

Thats the re-circ door I believe. Straight up when the blower motor is out?

Maybe mines a different problem then? Neither side blows much of anything. And i have warrenty that will cover this, just dont want anyone molesting my truck. Seems everytime I take it in they wreck something or do a hack job. Think it's worth the risk? You gotta pull the whole dash don't you?

If it is the mode door 2 it says the dash has to be removed.

Read that webpage I sent the link to. Should say what door based on symptoms. Also explains repair.

Without that door, it will let outside air blow in. (hot air this time of year).
You will want to replace it so the truck will cool and stay cool. Its only $120

I've read through all those on that link wesalbert, just doesn't seem to pinpoint my problem. The motor works from low to high, it just barely blows. When it's on high it sounds like a frickin' lawnmower. The air is still cold/hot depending what setting, and the duel climate seems to be working aswell. If the dash does need to come apart, I don't know what I'll do. Not many trustworthy shops around my area. I'll never get it serviced at the dodge stealerships here, but would like somebody who's done it before.. i may just leave it as is.

Unscrew the blower motor or take it to the dealer. Sounds like the re-circ door to me.
If it breaks and falls down, the blower is pretty much useless. The noise it the door probably hitting the fan on the blower motor.
