I'd like to suggest that the Admin here add one line to the individual post title bar: Year & Model of the owner's vehicle.
Why? Well for a plethora of reasons, a few of them being:
- Helps with questions from other members.
- Prevents incorrect sales of parts/materials.
- Will stop posts with questions like, "Is yours an 04 or 05 or 06" and "QC or RC?", and the other all-too-common questions that get posted.
It will also take care of posts and situations like this:
http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/showpost.php?p=316926&postcount=13
Not everyone has their info in their signature, and not everyone has signatures turned on (like me).
If the BASIC vehicle information is in each post title bar, everyone will be able to see it...and it can't be turned off.
Here are the 2 potential areas where the Year/Model info can be added:
This will automatically add it to their profile as well.
If there are multi-vehicle owners, input boxes can be added to the profile input page.
If the Admin need assistance with the vBulletin code for this, feel free to contact me.
It's quick and easy and will help out ALL the members.
