I just installed an X Metal throttle body. Before the install my AEM guage showed 12.5 - 12.6 on full throttle. After the install it shows 11.5 - 11.6. Is this alright. When I ordered the tune that I am currently running, I told them that I already had the TB installed. So, the TB was a determing factor in the making of the tune. Thanks, as usual, for your help with my stupid questions. But, somones gotta ask them.

did you unplug battery and reset ecm then drive it a bit ,,,then try it,,you could always go back to stock tune and see if it is still in the 11 ,s,,if it is its prob. not the tune

Yup, I did that. I'll drive it around for a coupl of days and see how it goes. I'll try the stock tune, also.

Shit, you should of seen me installing the plugs. The TB install went pretty easy.

Just screwing with you Steve, you have done an awesome job with your truck in a very short period of time:rock:

Something caused your A/F to go rich by one point. Make sure all the hoses are installed, including the short one closest to the engine at the back of the accordion tube and anything else you may have disturbed...
As mentioned 11.5 is safe; but not great for power production naturally aspirated.

11.5 is good on NA truck right?

Any detonation?
I'm not sure, that's why I was asking. I was just wondering why it went from 12.5 to 11.5, when I added the throttle body. The addition of a throttle body is part of my tune. So, maybe it's supposed to be at 11.5 with the throttle body. What's an ideal air/fuel ratio at wide open throttle? As for detontaion, it's more on the rich side, so I wouldn't expect any detonation.
