Almost made some BIG power today....

Went to tune Doms truck today, we were doing very well, first pull made 830/865 on 8.8 psi max, but had a weird dip in the middle. Next pull was 965/990 on 11.8 psi max, looking very good, but the dip got bigger and we had some clutch smell. We let it cool and the 4th pull was the last, clutch was no more, 1060/1066 on a slipping clutch :(. Not too bad for 93 octane, no n20, we still have some more to go on pump gas, then in goes the race gas.......:rock:

Sorry to hear the clutch let loose. What type of clutch is in the truck?

Wow! What's the static C/R about 8:1? :congrats: :rock:
 
The clutch is burning up because those short Mexican legs of Doms cant push the pedal to the floor to fully release the clutch...:dontknow: ..just a thought..:D

I'd be plenty happy with those numbers on the Procharger system.:rock:

That's probably more than I'll be able to stick to a track w/ 10.5 slicks as it is. Anything else is just bragging rights.:D

Dom will never go to a track, DYNO QUEEN....
 
Its 8.8 compression, just a good tuner and water injection. I pulled 5 plugs and they all were nice and detonation free. He has a McLoed Twin disc, but it has about 150 dyno pulls and 7K miles on it, so thats about all it is good for evidently, we will be replacing with the same clutch, should be here tuesday.
