you CANT tell me that's not totally bad ass
1: program the RPM with the computer
2: mash on the gas it'll stop where you programmed it
3: you can program it to lower the limit after you've launched...

it looks pretty awesome

the charger srt has traction control and when i raced my buddies.. with his traction control on i could beat him.... but with it off he could beat me... so who knows.. maybe not so great

yeah on the M5 to use Launch mode you've gotta have DSC off (DSC... a little different) nonetheless...

but for street use this would be kinda neat... it's easy to accidentally spin the wheels on the street...check out the full throttle shift

The full throttle gearshift system is activated by a switch fitted to the clutch pedal, either a hydraulic switch or a mechanical switch. Once the clutch is depressed, the system automatically drops the engine revs down by using a momentary rev-limit, allowing the next gear to be selected without lifting off the throttle. Because the throttle is always fully depressed, the engine is instantly back on full power, and on a turbo car the turbo is still producing boost. Tests have shown up to 0.1 seconds can be gained per gearchange.

Full throttle shift is a firmware upgrade available either at time of purchase or subsequent to fitting.

I've used a 2 speed rev limiter (hooked to my clutch) for years. They work great, and it's built into my haltech ECU (nothing extra to buy!)

I can keep going .... my point is... traction control isn't totally useless...
